Requesting Support with Windows Remote Assistance

• Step 1 - Search for the Windows Remote Assistance shortcut

  
  1. Click the Windows Start Button.
  2. For Windows 7, type remote assistance in the search box, then click the search button.
  3. For Windows 8.1, type invite someone, then make sure Everywhere is chosen, then click Invite someone to connect to your PC and help you…

• Step 2 - Invite help

  
  1. Click Invite someone you trust to help you.

• Step 3 - Send an e-mail invitation

  
  1. Click Use e-mail to send an invitation.

• Step 4 - Entering the support e-mail address

   
  1. Type the support email address in the To... box.

• Step 5 - Read the connection password

  
  1. Read the password over the phone to TracTime support.

• Step 6 - Allow the connection

  
  1. Click Yes.

• Step 7 - Share your desktop

  
  1. Click Yes.
